Carlsberg says Scarcity of Sobo Squash over

1 Min Read

Blantyre, April 22: Carlsberg Malawi Limited has assured customers that Sobo Squash drink would no longer be missing on the market.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Carlsberg Ltd attributed the recent missing of the drink on the market to changes in packaging.

“We at Carlsberg Malawi Ltd would like to inform our valued customers, consumers and the general public that effective 17th April the packaging of Sobo Squash has changed. We have introduced a new bottle and a branded closure and the new bottle will include a ribbed exterior with an easy grip, while the new closure is yellow and is printed with the Sobo logo,” read part of the statement.

According to the statement, the change comes as part of their aim to continue to deliver innovative and quality products:

“The new packaging applies to all our Sobo squash flavours including orange, pineapple, Blackcurrant, peach and raspberry and it also includes all sizes on offer which are 2 litres, 1litre and 500ml,” it explained.

According to management at Carlsberg, normal production has now resumed and the brand will be readily available on the market.
