Musopole takes helm at Malawi Institute of Architects

The Malawi Institute of Architects (MIA) has a new leadership team, following the election of Steve Musopole as its president at the elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) currently underway at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi District.

Musopole takes over from Khumbo Chirwa, who has served in the position for the past two years.

According to the election results, Dorthy Nyong’onya has been elected as the vice-president, while Vitumbiko Khoswe has been appointed as the secretary general.

The new leadership team is expected to steer the institute in its mission to promote and advance the architectural profession in Malawi.

The MIA is a professional organization that brings together architects in Malawi, with the aim of promoting excellence in architecture and advocating for the interests of its members.
