LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Barely a month after two senior and talented presenters Joseph Mwanoka and and Lucy Chimwanza left the country’s private owned Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), another two senior officers have also pressed an existing button.
The senior ZBS senior members leaving includes Africano Phiri, Director of Marketing (who have been with the station since 2006) and Steve Chikopa Head of Finance and Administration.
Sources with the station told the Maravi Post that the due are leaving ZBS over to poor leadership from management and politics at the office.
Information gathered reveals that since the coming in of ZBS Managing Director Gospel Kazako’s brother Grey Kazako who became the station’s General manager things have not been operating well as he is accused of abusive, oppressive tendencies.
We have also information that presenter Eneya Kadzanja and Daniel mawawa are also leaving ZBS soon after being ill treated by Gospel and Grey.
“Zithu zakhala zikufoyira becoz of ulamuliro wakhaza. Grey Kazako despite his bad attitudes towards staff he don’t have any qualifications only military background where he was fired a swell at Moyale barracks.
“Gospel again brought her sister Ketrina Kazako to be responsible for finances at Zodiak hence that made Steven Chikopa to leave the office,” says the source.
The source added; “Its clear that Gospel Kazako is financing UTM party in order to be piked as running mate. This has been shown when ZBS is almost on daily basis covering positive stories of UTM and broadcasting live Chilima rally.
Efforts to get reaction from ZBS’s Managing Director Kazako proved futile for several attempts
So far in 2018, ZBS lost 20 employees some of them including Don Stanley Kamwanthendo Joseph and Teresa Ndanga.

Am in the open stand watching and listening. When have Mwanoka and Lucy left Zodiak are they working on ganyu bases or what coz it’s only last week I heard this Mjomba Che Yuzufu on Zodiak. Secondly when airing UTM rallies these are paid up rallies so am waiting and watching.
These are serious allegations. Mr. Kazako, please respond.
