BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Youths in Senior Chief Kapeni in Blantyre have expressed gratitude to Fountain of Hope Organization (FOHOP), as it continues to enroll students in a capacity building project aimed at teaching youth’s Computer skills.
Executive of FOHOP Shora Kauluka said the project discovered a gap in computer knowledge among youths as many schools do not have computer labs.
He has since thanked Cross roads Foundation of Hong Kong for donating Computers, which are helping youths in the community to learn computer skills.
“We developed a Curriculum and School Calendar in order for us to deliver studies which are a beneficial to the youth,” said Kauluka.
One of the students Denson Kalonga has hailed the project saying it has helped them acquire knowledge, which they failed to gain during their Secondary level.
Project coordinator Lesley Kapili said there is high turn up of youths, as most of them are eager to learn and gain from this project.
Kapili hailed the enthusiasm to learn among the youth in the area.
