MZUZU-(Maravi Post) –The Inspirational artist MacDonald Chibwe a.k.a Mr. Born Richie has taken the world at storm with his movie like gospel music video dubbed “Kukondela kwa Mulungu” which is set to be released on January 24.
IBorn Richie told The Maravi Post that he wanted a drama visual in the music video.
“I wanted to have a drama that does not pick word from word with the lyrics but it should be a complete fresh approach of video scripts where you have less singing and more storylines related to the same,” Richie explains.
Richie had to shade more light on the song ‘Kukondela kwa Mulungu. “It is a song based on a theme of being respectful to everyone irrespective of others status because God turns any situation without consulting people. However, the song is inspired by the preaching of Prophet TB Joshua.
The song underscores the reality of ridiculous of how people treat others when they are successful.
“I wanted to give emphasis to how other people despise someone if they have emerged more successful,” says Richie.
The track is in both audio and video, the audio was recorded by OBK whilst the music video script was written by Yankho Seunda and was directed together with the Video Director Kenneth Makina (VJ Ken). The video was shot in three locations such Blantyre and Thyolo.
Richie has also two albums and many singles among them are ‘Mbiri Yanga, Lingakome and Wandiswa Mtima.
Richie said people should anticipate excellence and fresh delivery from him via inspiratory messages from his music.
In a separate interview with, the Music Director, Yankho Seunda appreciated the investment done in the music video.
“It is a very good song with nice touchy message in line to it of late we have rightly witnessed from other musicians, music that we have not heard for a long time and it is touches on one theme.
“The music video has been professionally invested with diverse concepts that can be touched,” Seunda said
Seunda recommended musicians to be embracing themselves with resources to make sure that there projects work beautiful.
