#AFCON 2021: Malawi’s Flames scorch Zimbabwe’s warriors

Malawi’s superstar Mhango was named man of the match

YAOUNDE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi National Football team, the Flames on Friday, January 14, 2022 beat Zimbabwe’s warriors two to one in an exciting match.

Flames’ superstar Gabadinho Mhango scored two goals putting warriors into shame as Zimbabwe went into the game as favorites.

Ishmael Wadi scored Warriors’ lone goal.

The win gives Malawi good life in the group tournament as the team just need a draw again Senegal in the next final game.

On Friday, Senegal drew against Guinea sharing points.

Senegal and Guinea have four point while Malawi has three points and Zimbabwe no point.
