The latest victim for Saulos Chilima was former Malawi President Bakili Muluzi. He very often castigates the very same people who basically groomed and developed him. Saulos Chilima on Sunday, May 10, 2020 claimed that the former president Bakili Muluzi is threatening his life.
Chilima is Tonse Alliance’s running mate to Lazarus Chakwera told the victory mega rally in Mzuzu that Muluzi has been sending young boys to intimidate him for his political prowess.
Look what President Mutharika did to him, transforming an average CEO who was juggling airtime and data to a position of vice president of a country. Chilima had everything in DPP under President Peter Mutharika
But that was not enough for him, his deluded self-importance got the better of him.
Chilima whilst at Chanco, was a mere supporter of Aford wing. Him and Paul Mphwiyo begged Late Honorable Rev Dumbo Lemani to organize a meeting with F.P, His Excellency Dr Bakili Muluzi, which he did. Afterwards, him and Paul were made leaders of UDF wing and they were given a green pick up(Datsun) for their activities and K2,5 Million for their day to day operations. Chilima and friends were being trained under the UDF Youth Directorate, that is where he met late Bingu.
In totality, he owes Dr Bakili Muluzi and Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika a great deal.
But that is not him, now that he once served as a vice president under DPP, he thinks he has made it in life, and he is bigger and clever than his masters/mentors.
Chilima is not well, the man is going mental, you can see his hallucinations, why should a retired politician and a former president worse his time with a baby boy whom he groomed himself? A boy who is just a mere vice president.
Why should Atcheya Kill Chilima? To what benefit?

Every second, minute and hour on any given opportunity he shouts, he swore at the Muluzi and Mutharika family.

The problem with Chilima he thinks he is wiser than all.
