Cristiano Ronaldo ‘could be sentenced to 99 lashes for kissing Iranian female fun

TEHRAN-(MaraviPost)-Cristiano Ronaldo could face a sentence of ’99 lashes for kissing a female fan in Iran.

In September, during a visit to Iran, Ronaldo hugged and kissed the painter Fatemeh Hamami, an action considered ‘HARAM’ under Islamic Sharia Law.

Kissing a married woman in Iran is seen as adultery.

Hamami, who is ’85 percent paralyzed,’ is a huge fan of Ronaldo and met him to present the painting she had drawn of him.

Daily Mail reports that there’s a possibility that the player could be arrested by Iranian authorities for this, but a judge might forgive the sentence if the actions are deemed non-punishable or if Ronaldo shows remorse.
