Eagles Reserve continues shinning in Unayo

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Blue Eagles Reserve on Saturday, June 4, 2022 continued shining in using UNAYO correctly as they earned their 3rd successful wins in a row after whipping Lizulu Super Stars 4-2 at home Nankhaka Stadium.

Dennis Nandolo opened Unayo score sheet with just a minute into the game while Captain Mike Nyondo added another one 29th minute.

Before the end of the first half Joseph Misaya pulled one back for the visitors through spot kick after a handball in the penalty box.

When the second half kicked off, Lizulu Super Stars came a changed team as they were able to exchange some passes but it was the home team who scored at 55th minute through Hamid Mohammed after beautiful play from Madalitso Khamula,Dennis Nandolo and Mike Nyondo.

From this point in time the visitors were down,losing balls so cheaply and showing some respect to Blue Eagles players.

Dennis Nandolo, Hamid Mohammed and Mike Nyondo could score as many goals as they could but ended up misfiring.

Masula Rabson scored the second goal for Lizulu Super Stars after Eagles goalie and his back four miscalculated at 90th minute.

As they thought they could take a share at Nankhaka Stadium Mike Nyondo scored a beauty after receiving nice ball from Dennis Nandolo to complete his brace of the day.

Young Eagles now have 9 points from 3 games played in UNAYO Division one league to the delight of team Manager Charles Ngosi who hailed his boys for the home victory.

Ngosi has vowed to fight to the end and bring Unayo Standard Bank to area 30.Last weekend Eagles defeated Shama away in Ntchisi,in the first game of UNAYO they whipped Mapokezi FC 3-0 at the same venue.

In other games Santhe ADMARC also maintained their unbeaten form by defeating Dzenza 1-2 with goals from Chikumbutso Sabilika brace and Horace Supuni scored for the host.Santhe ADMARC have 12 points from 4 games.

Hope Academy and Lilongwe Airbase played to a 1-1 draw,Simlemba United lost 0-2 at home to Nsaru United,Joseph Rajabu scored a brace,Balang’ombe Real Bombers were 2-0 victors over Chitedze Strikers while Mahempe FC saw off Zaithwa FC 3-2.

Kasiya Hungry Tigers drew 2-2 with Make Sure Pirates,Kamba FC defeated Shama FC 3-0 with Mapokezi FC beating Young Professionals 3-1,Nicholas Mukadi brace and Aman Defencture scoring for the host with Mike Bello scoring for Young Professionals.
