A chilling final message has been revealed from the ill-fated Titan submersible, just moments before it lost contact with the surface and tragically imploded. Among the last words heard from the crew of the experimental sub, which was en route to explore the wreck of the Titanic, were the simple but haunting words, “all good here.”
The message was part of a visual re-creation of the sub’s doomed journey, which detailed the final moments before the disaster. Shortly after this message, the sub lost contact with its surface team and ultimately suffered a catastrophic implosion, killing all five people on board.
The Titan submersible, operated by OceanGate Expeditions, was on a deep-sea mission to explore the wreckage of the Titanic, located about 12,500 feet below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The crew on board included OceanGate’s CEO, Stockton Rush, along with three other passengers and a pilot.
Despite high hopes and early indications that the mission was proceeding smoothly, the loss of communication with the surface quickly raised alarms. Rescue efforts were launched, but the sub’s remains were discovered days later, confirming the tragedy.
Investigations into the cause of the disaster continue, with experts examining the structural integrity of the sub and the immense pressures exerted by the ocean depths. The tragic event has sparked conversations about the risks associated with deep-sea exploration and the safety measures in place for such missions.
As more details emerge about the final moments of the Titan sub and its crew, the world continues to mourn the loss of life and reflect on the dangers of venturing into the deep ocean.
