Chikwawa January 12: Over 3000 hectares of cultivated field have been wahsed away in Chikwawa
According to Chikwawa District Agricultural Office, hundreds of pit Latrines and houses have been washed away causing a very health
risk.
In Traditional Authority Makhuwira alone, 300 people have been displaced due to flooding of Manjole river and the people are been kept at Thedzi evacuation camp.
As of Sunday no help had been given to these people who only except two bags of maize from their MP which was only available to few people since Friday according to one health officer from the District Health Office (DHO) who was administering medicine at the camp.
