Malawi Government has appointed Mr Duncan Mwapasa as Deputy Inspector General of Police

Minister of Information, Tourism & Culture has released a statement announcing that the Malawi Police Service Commission has appointed Mr Duncan Mwapasa as Deputy Inspector General of Police Responsible for Administration.

The appointment according to the statement is with immediate effect.

Mr Mwapasa replaces Mr Lexten Kachama who was appointed as Inspector General of Police and was confirmed by Parliament in his position on Thursday, 18th February 2015.
