Malawi’s Mzimba residents celebrate Prophet Bushiri’s birthday with cheap maize

MZIMBA-(MaraviPost)-Today, its a birthday for Malawian-South Africa based preacher Shepherd Bushiri, who leads the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church.

So, Mzimba residents had also celebrate the Prophet’s birthday by buying cheap maize at MK5,000 per 50kilogram.

Prophet Bushiri’s spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo, who is leading cheap maize sale expressed gratitude for the man of God’s gesture on his birthday.

“We are happy that today, on Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s birthday, his cheap maize sales have finally stormed the Northern Region of Malawi—with first stop being Mzimba district, the region’s biggest and most populous district.

“We have opened two market; one at Embangweni Trading Centre in the area of Traditional Authority Mzukuzuk and the other at Ezigozyeni CBCC in the area of Traditional Authority Mzikubola.

Nyondo adds, “As expected, thousands turned up in both centres and the excitement they flashed on their face as they balanced their share on their heads is everything that Prophet Bushiri wants as his birthday gift.

“We are still in the region opening several centres and, later this week, we will be returning to the Southern Region”.
