Martse admitted at Queen for further medical treatment over fire wounds

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Multi-award winning Hip Hop artist Martse real name Martin Nkhata has been admitted at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) Intensive Care Unit in Blantyre where he is receiving further treatment of his fire wounds.

The artist is suffering serious burns after a house he was sleeping in caught fire in Monkey-Bay, Mangochi on Saturday May 21, 2022.

Following the incident, a number of artists in the country are sending him get well messages and prayers for his quick recovery through their facebook posts.

One fellow popular Hip Hop artist Fredokiss writes, “He shall never fail you or forsake you. The ALMIGHTY IS WITH YOU NOW. I love you.

Kell Kay says” God please heal our brother and friend, Martse”.

Phyzix writes ” coming to see you at the hospital as soon as I get to Blantyre real bro Martse. We are praying for you. Get well soon”.

” Ambuye mutsitse machilitso kwa Martse,” writes Lulu.

One of the country’s fastest comedians Che Mandota has also wished Martse a quick recovery.

He writes, “Let’s pray for martse. We understand that that on Social Media We joke a lot koma nkhani iyiyi ndi ya serious.

“Panopa am not talking as a comedian, koma ndikuyankhula as someone who knows the classification of burns, management, complications,and progonosis. Ndipo ndukuuzani kuti nkhaniyi tisayitengele chibwana ndikumapanga ma comments ofuna potchukira.

” Let’s pray for him and support him”.

Currently, Police investigations are underway to establish the cause of fire that burnt down the house.

The 28-year- old Martse is one of the iconic Malawian artists in urban music circles.

He is considered to be one of the musicians who have mastered the art of producing hit songs.

In the past year, he released a hit called Mkatimo, a song which is considered to have been an anthem of 2021. It features hip-hop legends Berry Uno, and Hyphen.
