QUICK FACTS:
1. MCP fooled Malawians that the elections were rigged and they were robbed of their victory
2. MCP has been in the forefront advancing the calls of federalism which failed
3. MCP has been in the forefront speculating about the MSB saga and turned down the Indaba
4. MCP has been spreading lies that Mutharika was implicated in the data analysis of Forensic audit.
5. MCP seems to lack facts on current state of affairs.
6. MCP is a bitter party which has served opposition benches for two decades.
Malawi Congress Party will never change. The party seems not to have learnt from the past mistakes and tactics which they used to fool Malawians during the 30 year of their rule.
The leadership of MCP remains undemocratic and still has ambitions of taking Malawians for granted without considering the atrocities which they put us in for so many years.
Within a space of a year which Malawi Congress Party has been spreading the gospel of being a reformed party, the party has brought nothing new but turned worse with its leadership which seems to be ignorant on matters which require maturity when handling.
MCP as a party of tricksters was last year embarrassing itself when it wanted to rule this country from the back door. The party and its leadership manipulated the elections results just to make sure that they emerged victorious. They made the noise and when they failed to fool civilized Malawians of today, they went ahead to propose that the election results are recounted or the country have fresh elections just to make sure that they forced themselves into power. Thanks to Malawians for denying them this ill intentions.
As that was not enough, the Malawi Congress Party came up with a strategy to use their fellow disgruntled comrades in arms to have calls for federalism. This was nothing but a second litmus test to see if Malawians were still blind to allow them divides this country and let them rule this nation from such a crooked manner. They tried but finally they failed as peace loving Malawians did not see the sense of having this country which they ruled for 30 years split now.
With the bitterness of failing to rule the country from back doors and a failed call for federalism. MCP thought of destabilizing the country by funding demonstration in the name of seeking for peace and justice as well as accountability in the NAC and MSB saga but they never succeeded with their agenda. MCP was planning to influence the CSOs and their fellow frustrated politicians to call for the impeachment or the indictment of the president but it was a failed coup again as the nation saw their demands as being unrealistic and immature.
That is not the end of MCP, instead of providing alternatives on how best they can help to develop this country. MCP at it again wanted to hold Malawians at ransom by trying to delay the budget deliberations forcing the Minister of Finance to present to them the PWC forensic analysis report which according to the parliamentary act, such reports are to be presented to the speaker through the public accounts committee.
It does not make sense at all that Malawians who are suffering the aftermaths of the previous regime cash gate should continue suffering because MCP is making unreasonable demands hoping that some people who they are regarded as their rivals were implicated in it.
It is very shameful that instead of developing this nation, MCP is trying so hard to let this country down a move which is showering the pace at which this nation was to be developing.
