Meet Malawi’s mesmerized, worshiper, gospel musician Debbie

Debbie: I’m here to serve Christ through gospel music

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi being a God fearing nation continues to budding sons and daughters to spearhead the gospel of Christ through music.

Therefore, one such mesmerized and upcoming gospel musician is Deborah Ntopa that on stage is dubbed as “Debbie”.

She is mother, a sister, a worshiper, an entrepreneur, an employee at Lilongwe prime insurance city centre in the capital.

Debbie grew and brought up in a God fearing family and fathered by Mrs Loyce Ntopa and the late apostle Dr Stewart Ntopa.

On her music journey, she loved gospel music all her life Started singing at the age of 6 and I grew up loving singing. She developed a strong taste for quality music and a passion for ministering through gospel music.

Asked when did she record her first song, Debbie says, “In February 2021 with thin genius at the drum sound Studio in Karonga, I recorded my first debut titled “Wa Moyo” which has been warmly welcomed by Malawians and other few neighboring countries”

On what music genre is she up to, Debbie embrace diversity and will be diversifying all music genres with an aim of reaching out to people of all walks of life

On what message will the album have, the artist says the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ, Motivational and Faith restoration messages.

Debbie is therefore assuring her fans to meet international genre for recognition saying as a servant of God ministering through music, “it’s my wish and prayer to reach out the world.

She however not afraid of making a headway or breakthrough amid many gospel artists in Malawi daring that “there are many great artists out there but they are not Debbie”.
