LILONGWE (MaraviPost):– Salvation for All Ministries International, under the leadership of Apostle Clifford Kawinga, has rolled out a major humanitarian outreach through its Hope Field Initiative, reaching 4,000 vulnerable families in Nkhotakota District.

The outreach was conducted under Traditional Authority Nkhanga and Traditional Authority Kalimanjira, on 28th and 29th January with activities taking place at Mapala Ground.

A total of 4,000 beneficiaries 2,000 from each traditional authority received maize as part of efforts to ease food shortages affecting the area.

Speaking during the donation ceremony, Apostle Clifford Kawinga said the initiative was driven by the church’s calling to respond to both the physical and spiritual needs of communities facing hardship.

“As a church, we believe that faith must be demonstrated through action. While we pray for our people, we must also respond to their immediate needs.

This is why we are here today to share hope, food, and the love of God,” Kawinga said.

Receiving the donation, Senior Chief Nkhanga and Senior Chief Kalimanjira commended the ministry for its timely intervention, describing the support as a major relief to households struggling with food insecurity.

“We are grateful for this assistance. It will go a long way in helping our people during this difficult period,” the chiefs said.

Mwanawasha Alli said the maize donation would help her family cope with the current food shortage, while Emilida James described the assistance as a sign of hope and encouragement.

“This help has come at the right time. We thank the church for remembering us,” James said.

In addition to distributing relief items, the ministry conducted prayer sessions, reinforcing its belief that God remains the ultimate source of restoration and hope.

Hope Field Initiative seeks not only to address food insecurity but also to provide spiritual encouragement, reflecting the ministry’s long-term commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across Malawi.
