Support DPP or resign, Kudontoni tells govt. parastatal CEO’s

LILONGWE (MaraviPost)—In a clear show of a strange type of bootlicking, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Eckleni Kudontoni has accused Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s) who are serving under the current leadership of working against the party further claiming that most government departments are infested with anti-DPP members and the party has embarked on a monitoring crusade.

Kudontoni said this during a party meeting held on Saturday in Mzuzu.

“Most government departments have people who do not wish DPP well,” said Kudontoni.

“DPP is springed to guard against such officials as its members are being discriminated against by the officials,” the SG warned adding that any official working against DPP will have to step down.

However in an interview in the streets of Lilongwe, Malawians accused Kudontoni for his myopic thinking advising him that he should not expect all Malawians to support his party.

“Governing party officials always suspend their reasoning when making statements; they end up becoming a public laughing stock. This dude is not educated.

“He was appointed on his position because he is just vocal, no wonder he spews nonsense.  “Responding to his tantrums will be like fighting a pig in mud. You will just look stupid yourself,” said one Victor Mtalimanja.
