CALIFORNIA-(MaraviPost)-Kate Hill, California District representative on Thursday afternoon delivered a speech for her resignation following the scandal of her leaked pictures that were published online.
In her speech, Hill expressed her heartfelt apology to her friends and family for her mistakes and thanked them for unending support they had showed her from the time the pictures were leaked to present.
As quoted by CNN, Hill said:” I’ve hidden from the world because I’m terrified of facing the people I have let down, but I made it through because people who love me the most dragged me back to the light”.
Hill has however blamed her ex-husband for leaking the photos as the two are processing a divorce suit.
She however admitted to be involved in unappropriated relationship with one of her female campaign staffer.
The date for election to fill her position is yet to be announced by California Governor, Gavin Newsom.
George Papadopoulos, who was jailed for 14 days for lying to FBI is among those who are planning for a run.
