LILONGWE (Maravi Post)—Private owned Zodiak radio station has alleged that the ongoing Malawi School Certificate Examinations (MSCE) have leaked.Their evidence is that they got hold of answers to Biology practical exams. They claim that the answers they got have corresponded to the specimen the students were using in writing the actual paper today.
But is this conclusive evidence to raise alarm to the nation that the exams have leaked?
Some quarters say Zodiak radio just want to cause stress to the candidates submitting that specimen for practicals are known by subject teachers before the exams are written.
“They are told to buy them. All they do not know are the questions.
“It is possible some teachers speculated what questions would come given the specimen they were told to buy and to conclude that finding such answers mean that the exams have leaked is a dangerous assumption,” said one teacher who is privy to exam issues in the capital Lilongwe adding that “if they are to be taken serious, let them show the nation any theory paper and not blowing things out of proportion on issues they hardly understand.”
Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) is yet to make an official statement on the same. We will keep you updated!

We need real evidence that exams have leaked so MANEB can have a good basis to nullify the exams. You want MANEB to take action based on such cheap reporting from Zodiak?
Let them bring tell the nation THEORY PAPERS and this exam will be cancelled but not with such information.
Yes it is unprofessional for any teacher to tell his/her students the specimen that are to come BUT do you want to argue that ALL teachers are professional in this country where everyone starting from the politicians themselves, civil servants to a charcoal burner are corrupt oriented?

Hey, can’t you see that what Zodiak has done is 100%right? Even with your far fetched scenario, it is unprofessional for a practical exam teacher to give even the slightest hint about the specimens, apparatus, tools etc that will be used in the exam……even if it is end of semester/term or mock exam. Good work Zodiak, keep it up!!
