Malawian computer whiz develops a FREE Android sales APP

1 Min Read

Malawian Rester Goliati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering obtained from Malawi polytechnic has developed an Android sales APP that is now available on Google Apps store for download.

Rester Goliati works for ResterWorld Consultancy, a new software consultancy firm of which he is listed as the founder and President.

The application Mr. Goliati has developed is called Quick Sales and was launched last Week. Rester developed this application having noticed that POS systems costs a lot of money to purchase (scanner, computer, PoS software etc.); and having analyzed how POS systems work he came to the conclusion that he can implement the POS functionality within an android app; this led him to develop this free android application for now.

Mr. Goliati wanted to give people a world class POS solution at a much less cost as compared to the computer based system.

Key Features:

Make sales by scanning barcodes or entering the codes manually. You can also reverse previously done transaction (useful when a user return an item). Quick Sales enable you to save a transaction and come back to it later (useful in shops that offer lay by).

Manage Inventory/Stock. The app sends notification when stock levels are below a certain threshold. Add more items, change prices etc.

View various sales and inventory reports. Send sales reports via SMS

The app is password protected to prevent an unauthorized access.

The app will run on any phone running Android 4.0 or upwards.

The Quick Sales app can be downloaded for free on Google Play:
