Radio fans donate to Zomba’s needy triplets

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-A radio fun group has shot in the arms financially-crippled children with physical disabilities in Zomba.

Dorothy Siula, mother to the children, three in number therefore applauded Living Waters Church Radio for the help saying it will go a long way in alleviating their upkeep.

Some of the items donated include, cooking oil, salt, soap, blankets, two wheel chairs worthy over MK500,000.

LWC TOP 20 chart is a program aired on living waters church radio in which listeners vote for songs in the chat with the aim of promoting local gospel music in the Country.

The group also agreed to be doing charity works with an aim of reaching out to the needy.

Speaking after the donation founder of the group who is also a producer of the program, Zizwani Mbizi said their aim is to end poverty in the country.

He further lauded the CCAP Blantyre Synod for supporting the initiative with wheel chairs.

Mbizi also appealled to the general public who has the potential to join hands and end poverty in the country.

“As a group we made the contributions of different items and we have today donated them to the family, since the bible encourages us to help those in need with what God has blessed us with,” said Mbizi.
