BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)—Malawi leader Peter Mutharika has cancelled his campaign tour which was scheduled to take place on Thursday as the president is seeking reelection in the forthcoming fresh presidential election slated for June 23, 2010, Maravi Post has learnt.
Mutharika will continue on his country wide tour on Friday 19th June 2020 visiting people in Kasungu, Mzimba and Mzuzu City.
According to a statement from the Office of President and Cabinet, the President will at 11 O’clock in the morning address people at Kasungu Boma on Friday.
Later the same day at 2 O’clock in the afternoon the Malawi leader will be at Mzimba Boma and finally at 4 O’clock the President will address people in Mzuzu City.
Mutharika has left Blantyre today for a campaign tour across the country.
