BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The High Court in Blantyre on Monday, March 15, 2021 dismissed an application by the state to revoke bail for Norman Chisale, personal security aide of former President Peter Mutharika.

According Sylvester Kalembera, High Court Judge, the state managed to establish that there was contact between Chisale and the witness but it has failed to prove who contacted who.

Kalembera, added that the state has also failed to prove if Chisale contacted the witness.

He added that it will be in the interest of Justice for the state to parade its last witnesses since it is remaining with a few witnesses.

This means Chisale will continue to enjoy bail rights while answering several charges including murder, fraud, money laundering and among others.
