LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Salima-Lilongwe Water Project, a flagship project under Khato Civils pty Limited, is progressing steadily, fulfilling President Lazarus Chakwera’s campaign promise which he made in 2020 to bring clean water to central Malawi.

The project, drawing water from Lake Malawi, is currently focusing on specialized works in various camps along the M14 road.

Its ultimate goal is to provide access to clean water for the capital city, Lilongwe, and surrounding districts including Salima, Nkhotakota,Ntchisi and Dowa.

This significant development underscores the government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.

The project has already contributed to Chakwera’s job creation initiative as it has already created hundreds of jobs to the locals.

This is the reason why many Malawians are echoing “Boma ndilomweli sitikusintha” citing that Dr.Lazarus Mccarthy Chakwera has walked the talk and implemented the project that the DPP led government failed on political grounds.

Malawians are expected to go for polls on September 16 as such quality leadership is weighted on public service delivery.
