Bushiri and wife Mary in Malawi police hands

JOHANNESBURG-(MaraviPost)-In a desperate attempt to have Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and wife Mary’s head in South Africa, that country’s state has forfeited the couple’s Centurion property

The centurion which is valued at R5.5-million has been forfeited to the state after the pair violated their bail conditions by leaving South Africa.

Magistrate Thandi Theledi asked for the Bushiris to be called three times at their hearing on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

This was down to record in court that the Bushiris were not present.

The couple’s legal team in South Africa said they were not informed of their movements and only know what they have seen in the media.

The magistrate ruled that the Bushiris have forfeited their property which was tied to their bail to the state.

Prophet Bushiri and wife Marry fled to Malawi on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 for safety.

The couple insists that they can not have fair trial in South Africa.

Bushiri and wife Mary are in police custody pending bail after handed themselves to Malawi Police on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
