LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Concerned members of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) have said they will meet on Wednesday to discuss way forward on a letter of concerns they wrote their party on November 26, 2021.

Spokesperson of the grouping Alex Major confirmed the development to the local press.

According to Major, this follows expiry of 14 days they gave the party to respond to the letter in which, among others, they are asking the party and state president, Lazarus Chakwera, to reshuffle cabinet.

They also want Chakwera to fire Secretary to President and Cabinet, Zangazanga Chikhosi, Director of State Residences, Prince Kapondamgaga and State House Director of Communication, Sean Kampondeni.

MCP Publicity Secretary, Reverend Maurice Munthali, has called for patience from the members, saying their concerns will be addressed as they are planning to hold the National Executive Committee meeting which was shifted from 4 December, 2021.
