English Premiere League: Chelsea fire Graham Potter for incompetence

Potter sacked as Chelsea Manager

LONDON-(MaraviPost)-Chelsea Football Club has sacked Graham Potter as team manager after less than seven months in charge.

Potter sacking comes barely a day following Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat by Aston Villa.

“Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future,” reads part of Chelsea sacking statement on Potter.

With Saturday defeat, Chelsea anchors position 11 with 38 points for 28 games before winding up English Premier League.

Its unlikely Chelsea will play in Champions and Europa Leagues in the next season.
