BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Police Service (MPS) in Blantyre on Saturday morning, April 16, 2021 Police in arrested former Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Director General Aubrey Sumbuleta after weeks Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC) report revealed that he sexually abused female workers at the state broadcaster during his tenure as Director general.
The arrest comes a few days after reports imaged that Sumbuleta was on the run.
He is however kept at Limbe police station for questioning before taken to court on Monday.
