Argentina dominated the first half of the game and managed to score 2-0 against France.

The defending champions were disorganized in that half of the game.

France disappointed its fans in the first forty five minutes.

They played under pressure and made a number of substitutions. This was evidence enough that they were under panic.
.the second half changed the tempo of the game as France came wave after wave.

They managed to score 2-1 and later scored again and equalized 2-2.

It was a tough game as France kept pushing until 90 minutes the two teams were separated for short break still at the same level 2-2.

The two giants were brought into football pitch in extra time in order to find one winner.

Argentina scored the third goal and it was Argentina 3-2 France but the blues equalized again and it was a draw game again Argentina 3-3 France.

Then the most difficult moment to predict was here. It was now time for penalty shootouts and it was anybody’s game.

The supporters for the two sides fell short of courage to brag before the penalties could be taken. Each side spoke with hesitation and went mute.

The party started when the French player missed a penalty.

When the goal keeper for Argentina stopped the second penalty by France, the dance party was inevitable.

Fans who were rallying behind Argentina started singing in too of their voices and dancing for the oncoming victory.

Then Argentina scored he winning penalty and it was Argentina 4-2 France.

Messi’s Argentina lifted 2022 World Cup final; France could not stop Argentina.

Messi finally won the World Cup for Argentina.

This may be the last time we have watched Lionel Messi play in the world cup. He may not be there playing for Argentina in 2026.

The defending champs were in a fighting mood for the ball poised to win the game. The whole game changed as France came wave after wave.

It was Messi’s last game, and we were all lucky to witness it but it looks like the great player has changed his mind.

“I won’t won’t retire yet as a champion,” Messi said on Sunday 18 December 2022 while holding the cup.
