Late Bingu Wa Mutharika: Has been honored posthumously

NDATA, THYOLO (MaraviPost)—During the commemoration of Bingu Wa Mutharika currently underway at Ndata farm in Malawi’s southern district of Thyolo, information minister Kondwani Nankhumwa has shocked the nation when he disclosed that former President Bingu Wa Mutharika didn’t die a natural death but was rather killed by former President Joyce Banda popularly known as JB in political circles. Nankumwa claimed to be in possession of a document called the ‘JB Project,’ a comprehensive document by president Joyce Banda which outlined how she was to take over government by means of killing president Bingu Wa Mutharika using any trick within or outside the book.

Nankhumwa defended his case by producing a copy of the “The Eye Witness Newspaper” of 11th October, 2011 which carried a story stating that Bingu Wa Mutharika was not to reach 2014 saying that he would by the time be dead if information contained in the “JB Project” document was anything to go by.

‘I ask you the President to arrest those who were behind the JB Project so they should explain who killed Bingu,’ said Nankhumwa adding that “even if Dr Bakili Muluzi was part of the JB project, he must be brought to book. Ironically, Bakili Muluzi, who was reported to have slaughtered a cow as a matter of celebrating the death of his political friend-turned nemesis Bingu Wa Mutharika, attended the function.

The late president suddenly collapsed while in office at state house and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe.

During the function, former Zambian president Rupiah Banda, former opposition leader John Tembo, former vice president Khumbo Kachali, Peoples Party Vice President Brown Mpinganjira and many high dignitaries graced the occasion.
