Nairobi police arrests five terrorists

NAIROBI-(MaraviPost)-Kenyan police in Nairobi have arrested five suspects who were surveying a famous pub in preparation for an attack.

The arrest has come in after the renewed attacks by Somalia-based terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

Among the 5 arrested suspects, four are Somali nationals and one is a US citizen. Officers from Pangoni Police Station apprehended the suspects along Liambu Road.

During the arrest, police seized a white Toyota Vitz that the suspects were using. Police also recovered a Kenya Airforce trouser, one jungle t-shirt, a jungle hat, jungle trouser, a Mac book, one US passport, one US embassy security card, and various cheques.

As reported by Pulse, money in various currencies and denominations including Us dollar, Kenyan shillings and Somalia shillings were also recovered from the suspects.

Meanwhile, Security has been toughened across the country with security officers scotching any move by the extremist group.
