Malawi Parliament faces early adjournment with the suspension of 4 lawmakers

Following the chaos of the August House today, Tuesday, January 18th,Parliament faces an early adjournment with 4 members facing suspension, which will be effected on separate days.

Presenting the ruling, the 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Aisha Adams, said that Salima South and Christopher Manja should come to the house after 4 days for disrespecting the 105 orders and pouring out the jacket.

Bizwick Million, who is a member of Salima South East, Mike Mwawa, and Zomba Changalume lawmakers, was given 2 days to assist the member in staying inside the house.

On the other hand, the member of Parliament for Blantyre City South, Samuel Suileman Suileman, has been given 2 days for being the first one to stand in the August House and speak chaos words.

The house will be back in operation tomorrow afternoon at 2pm.
