Malawi Police arrest Moses Kunkuyu and are hunting for others for stoning Presidential Convoy

BLANTYRE, MaraviPost: Malawi Police in Blantyre have arrested MCP campaign director Moses Kunkuyu and are hunting Luis Ngalande in connection to Ndirande violence that has happened today.

President Mutharika and his running mate Atupele Muluzi were booed and stoned today in Ndirande on their way from Soche Conference Hall where they went to submit their presidential nomination papers.

What appears to have been spontaneous is now been to have been orchestrated by MCP campaign director Moses Kunkuyu and Luis Ngalande.

This does not bode well for the upcoming campaign period.

The 5 people arrested have told Police that they were sent by Moses Kunkuyu.
