NTCHEU-(MaraviPost)-Very Weird! Two Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers are reported dead at Tsangano in the central district of Ntcheu where army is constructing a road.
The two were Shot dead by their fellow soldier corporal Banya.
The Maravi Post understands that the suspect who is at large now (murderous soldier) had an affair with a fellow female soldier.
And they had a disagreement where the male soldier became violent; the girl then reported him to police and was arrested.
Upon his release he went to Kamuzu Barracks in Lilongwe and smuggled a pistol from his military police department.
The suspect therefore managed to maneuver with the pistol beyond the gates and went straight to Tsangano were MDF is working on the road with the intention to kill shoot the woman.
His two fellow military police soldiers tried to talk to him.
But he drew his gun and shot them dead.
There is no immediate reaction from MDF authorities on the matter.
