BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Blantyre city council with technical assistance from the Public private partnership commission (PPPC) has partnered with Webtribe a Kenyan film to enroll Automation management system.
Automation is the technique of making an apparatus, a process or a system operate automatically.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding took place in Blantyre on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
Speaking during the signing of MoU City’s major councilor Wild Ndipo applauded the PPPC for facilitating the partnership.
Ndipo further said that as city council they embark on the initiative to get rid of any form of corruption and also to enhance revenue correction.
On her remarks PPPC acting Chief executive officer Audrey Mwala said that as PPPC they are mandated to go out and amass the private sector who have got skills and resources both from Malawi and outside to bring much needed investment into the country.
According to the MoU the Kenyan film among some will finance, design and manage automation system.
In the process constructing modern infrastructure in minibus terminals in Limbe and Blantyre business center.
The project will start in November this year and the contract is valid for next ten years.
Webtribe has invested about US$2.3 million on the project
