MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-Music has no limitations but it is a tool that disseminates messages mostly people in different places telling audience what they do, how they do it, and inspiring as well as motivating people.
However, this is why McLuther integrated the roots of his stories to connect him to people in his debut launch project of ‘Mizu-Ya-McLuther’.
A Contemporary Christian Artists who also integrates in Jazz and Blues Chords, McLuther Lucretius Mambala said ‘Mizu-Ya-McLuther’ simply comes from the roots of his Christian belief.
“I’m a christian and there is more to christians beliefs, more spiritual sounds about life, in simple terms its mainly about the songs that connect my people to me because the songs in Mizu-Ya-McLuther project are my stories.
“The songs in Mizu-Ya-McLuther comes from my culture of Ngoni which makes me love the things of my culture as it entails the vibes of Ngoni as a half Zimbwean and all African sounds are found in my project,” McLuther said.
McLuther confirmed that he is not calling the compilation an album but he felt of calling it ‘Mizu-Ya-McLuther’ project which is going to have more than 15 songs or it will even reach to 25 songs.
Furthermore, the launching date and venue has not yet been situated but hoping it will come out soon that will be according to his Manager’s decision.
McLuther this time wants to give people a very good show as he is not going to have supporting artists, its strictly for him with his band and backing vocalists.
“I want give people enough about a 2 hour set with about 20 songs and that’s what our friends do out there when it comes to concerts,” McLuther said.
According to McLuther he has released a lot of songs such as ‘Ana Akalekale featuring Lulu, Mwari, Sindinaiwalidwe, Izizi, Kusukulu and Ndikweza Maso’.
He further clarified that he has not been quiet as people think but he has been very active.
“I haven’t been quiet but I have been as active, as you know I have been playing music big time even outside the country but I have in a specific circle and now it is now time to go main stream.
“I have played in many concerts for example in 2018 I performed at Sand Music Festival, at Faith Mussa’s Mdidi Launch at Victoria Hotel and this simply tells I have been active,” McLuther smiled while explaining.
He promised that the 2020 project will be the best and people should expect surprises even in the shows and his launch, people should not try to miss it.
McLuther called for Malawians and companies to support him ahead of the project launch.
I tried to check out his songs on YouTube but couldn’t find any. I’d really love to listen to his sounds, can anyone help with links?
