Minister of Agriculture Kondwani Nankhumwa cheers inmates at Mulanje Prison

LILONGWE, (MaraviPost): Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, Hon. Kondwani Nankhumwa, MP, on Saturday, 28th December 2019, cheered up inmates at Mulanje Prison.

Hon. Nankhumwa was accompanied by his three sons and MP for Mulanje South, Santigo Phiri, among others.

Hon. Nankhumwa told the inmates that there is life after prison, therefore they needed to spend their time with hope for a better future.

He said he decided to donate assorted items including bags of maize, soap, sugar, blankets, rappers(Zitenje) and a cow to them because as a Christian, he believes in spirit of giving and sharing as exemplified by God who loved us so much that He gave his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins.
