Nigeria’s gunmen Hukke village kill seven, raze 23 houses on fire

PLATEAU STATE-(MaraviPost)-Seven people have been burnt to death and 23 houses razed by gunmen Hukke village, Local Government Area of Plateau State.

According to Spokesman for the Miango Youth Development Association, Mr Lawrence Zongo, the gunmen who are more than 300 in number killed and burnt seven people beyond recognition and set ablaze about 23 houses before they fled the area on Thursday.

Report by Lailanews revealed that the incident happened barely 24 hours after gunmen killed three persons in Ancha community, in the Bassa in the same area.

The Chairman of the ECWA District Church Council, Rev. Sunday Kosu, has asked the CP to send more policemen to protect the community.

Commenting on the matter, police have assured people that they will bring to justice those involved in the killings.

Meanwhile, the senator representing the Plateau North in the Senate, Istifanus Gyang, condemned the killings in his constituency.
