Times Group falls as eight joins Mutharika’s public service

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-One of the country’s oldest media giants Times Group is reeling towards death bed as company keeps on losing key staff members following return of President Peter Mutharika into power since September, 2025.

The media grouping has lost over eight senior staff members including reporters, presenters, photojournalists and among others who have joined public service.

Eight staff members joined Mutharika’s public services including Brian Banda (MBC Director General), Cathy Maulidi (Presidential Press Secretary), Deogratias Mmana (Director of Information), Leah Malekano (Deputy Director of Information), David Gadama (PRO-Office of Second Vice President), Sam Bond Kaimira (PRO Ministry of Transport), Henry Mchulu (State House Videographer) and Emmanuel Simpokolwe (State House Photographer).

The eight members are not just mere staff but individuals that shaped Times Group’s excellence.

Times Group consists of Daily Newspaper, TV, Radio Station, currier and among others.
