TEXAS-(MaraviPost)-The world richest man, Elon Musk, has disclosed that he is the target of Russian forces after allegedly received threats from Russia’s space chief Dmitry Rogozin.
Musk disclosed this on his official twitter page on Monday, May 9 just moments after he shared some disturbing message.
“If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” reads Musk’s tweet.
The billionaire proceeded to share a note which he allegedly received from the former Russian prime minister Rogozin.
“From the testimony of the captured chief of staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it follows that the ground-based subscriber equipment of the Starlink satellite company Elon Musk was delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol by military helicopters,” reads the note.
According to Musk, Dmitry Rogozin also sent the note to Russian media adding that Musk will be accountable since he decided to arm fascists.
According to News18, the SpaceX founder and CEO made the Starlink satellite broadband service available to Ukraine in response to the request made by Ukraine’s government official who asked Musk to provide the country with Starlink stations in February during the early days of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
This came following poor internet connectivity in Ukraine caused by the Russian invasion in the southern and eastern parts of the country where fighting intensified.
However, this is not the first time when Musk and Rogozin have exchanged words. Earlier this year in March, the billionaire challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to single a combat using Ukraine as a stake.
The unorthodox solution to the ongoing war propose by the billionaire was responded by Rogozin who called Musk “little devil”, adding that Musk is still young and should compete with Rogozin as it would only be a waste of time.
Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022 and the war has continued for about 10-weeks now.
Thousands of people have been killed, cities destroyed , and nearly five million Ukrainians have fled their homes.
