USA’ Stormy Easter Sunday claims six lives

MISSISSIPPI-(MaraviPost)-At least 6 people have been Killed and up to 300 homes destroyed in the southern parts of the United States as a result of Strong Storms that hit Louisiana and Mississippi on Easter Sunday night.

Mississippi Emergency Management Agency director, Greg Michel confirmed this in a statement.

Reports by Daily Mail has revealed that one person killed was in Walthall County, a married couple was killed in Lawrence County and three were killed in Jefferson Davis County.

The National Weather Service have advised that thunderstorms will shift across the southeast and mid-Atlantic states which will bring potential tornadoes, wind and hail.

According to poweroutages.us, about 750,000 people will be left without power following the storm in a 10-state swath ranging from Texas to Georgia up to West Virginia.

Meanwhile, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves has declared a state of emergency following the easter Sunday night tornadoes that has claimed the lives 6.
