LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Airtel Money on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 created three millionaires in the first draw of Tola promotion.
This means the company has disbursed about MK30 million in the first week.
The promotion which runs for 12 weeks is pegged at MK600 million Tola Promotion.
During the draw at Airtel Money offices, in the capital Lilongwe, Joseph Sosten, Janet Kanyenda, and Christopher Banda emerged as the first three lucky winners of MK5 million each in the competition with other 300 winners across the country pocketing MK50, 000 each.
Sosten who is based in Mchinji expressed gratitude and appreciation as he plans to establish an Airtel Money agent business and invest in agri-business activities.
His co-winner Kanyenda who sells maize flour Uin Mzuzu she plans to purchase essential household items, specifically a bed and mattress.
Banda a part time health worker based in Machinga plans to purchase a land and support his parents.
Head of Marketing at Airtel Money Virginia Jere said these are life changing prizes and they will continue giving away prizes which they have committed in the promotion.
Over the next three months from 13th May to 5th August 2026, Airtel Money is committed to give away K600 million in cash prizes, rewards, and giveaways, with daily winners of various prizes, weekly 3 winners of K5 million each and 300 winners of K50,000 cash prizes.
The grand prize one winner will walk away with the ultimate prize of MK50 million
