LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Airtel Money Tola Promotion’s second draw on Thursday, May 28, 2026 surprised Balaka Ngwangwa lawmaker John Jackson Bamusi as one of the three weekly lucky winners of MK5 million.
During the draw at Airtel Money head office in the capital Lilongwe, two other lucky winners were emerged including Stephano Mandimba, a primary school teacher from Monkey Bay, and Willack Ndala from Chiradzulu.
When asked what would do with the prize, despite being in disbelieve, legislator Bamusi plans to support two women’s groups by giving them MK2 million each to start revolving funds and grow their businesses.
The legislator therefore expressed excitement and grateful for life-changing funds towards uplifting women welfare in his constituency.
While on the other hand, Mandimba said the money will help pay school fees for his children, one in Form 4 and another at the College of Medicine.
Ndala, who runs a livestock business selling goats and cattle, also benefited from the promotion.
Airtel Money’s Head of Marketing, Virginia Jere, said the promotion is meeting its intended objectives by changing customers lives across the country.
Jere therefore assured customers that the promotion will continue awarding MK5 million to three people every week, along with MK50,000 to 300 others.
In two weeks of the promotion, six millionaires with MK5 million each have been created and 600 customers walking away with MK50,000 each.
Weekly, the promotion is splashing out MK30 million.
With ten weeks to go, the promotion runs to August 5, 2026 when one lucky winner will go away with MK50 million as the overall grand prize.
