LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-A Contemporary Christian artist who also integrates in Jazz and Blues Chords, McLuther Lucretius Mambala has said he thought of honoring Lulu by putting the remixed song ‘Ana Akalekale’ in his yet dropped project called ‘Mizu_Ya_McLuther’.

A song recorded in 2016 by Lulu, remixed by OBK in 2018 is set to be released on Tuesday, April 7.

McLuther said thought of putting a collabo with Lulu, an artist he grew up listening to his music.

“I grew up listening to Lulu’s music in the early 2000’s when I was in primary, in 2017 I met him the time he was launching ‘Mwayenera’

“So in honor and respect to the living musician full of talent, Lulu, I decided to do collaboration with him as I decided to put the remixed song in my project ‘Mizu_Ya_McLuther,” McLuther said.

The progression of the song ‘Ana Akalekale’ was probably brought up Kitson a music teacher who is McLuther’s friend.

“I was excited as Lulu recorded it for free, I swear,” happily explained McLuther, Lulu treats me as a young brother,” McLuther added.

He said chose the title ‘Ana Akalekale’ to portray a picture of how young ones used to live back in the days.

“I remember back then when we were young when we have seen older people we appreciate of; we used to feel good not this generation we see nowadays. So this song is talking about how we used to do, and live back in the days,” McLuther says.

McLuther further said the song inspires him in the whole concept.

“Basically, the inspiration of the song comes from the whole concept to say that being people who have adopted a mixture of cultures, this one is inspiring to realize the old us It’s something appreciative with the elderly,” McLuther said.

In a comment for the musician, Lulu said he wants to welcome McLuther on the market.

“The boy has good styles, he composed the song and then I had to put my verse in it, You see!,” happily explained Lulu, “so all I want is to welcome the boy on the market,” Lulu said.

He then advised all up and coming artists to never give up despite what people execute of them.

“Don’t stop, keep on doing it over and over again, someone can delay you to blow but, nobody can stop you.

“W all learn from mistakes, upcoming artists should not fear to make mistakes,” Lulu said.
