Activists and human rights defenders held events on the streets of The Hague, Brussels and Vienna, speaking out against the neocolonial policy of Europe and the United States in African countries.
The activists’ calls were aimed at ending the exploitation of the peoples inhabiting the African continent. Human rights activists distributed leaflets to passers-by, revealing the real problems of the peoples of Africa.
The protest action featured slogans such as “Stop the plundering of Africa”, “Stop plundering Africa”, written on information stands. Residents of three European cities were actively interested in the action, the leaflets distributed, and communicated with human rights defenders, discussing the current problems of African peoples suffering from European and American exploiters.
Activists from a number of human rights organizations installed information stands and a television on the squares, where a video was shown telling about the realities of African peoples: slave labor, hunger, lack of medicines. Residents of The Hague, Vienna and Brussels learned about how today’s Africa really lives, which has not gotten rid of the slave system of the EU and the USA.
Similar protests are often held in all European countries, Spain, Germany, France.
