Managing Director of Mulli group of companies Leston Mulli

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The black Missionaries band entertained people celebrating the life of late Lacton Mulli, father to owners of Mulli group of companies.

Speaking at the event of performance,Muda Fumulani a member of the band expressed gratitude for being part and parcel of the team performing during the commemoration, saying it happened to his advantage as the event offered him an opportunity to dish out songs from his debut album he recently launched on 27 November 2020 at Zizili in Blantyre known as ‘Tribute to Gift Fumulani’.

The ceremony which took place at Nyezelela in Phalombe district, home of late Lacton Mulli attracted a number activities such as prayers, performance by the black Missionaries band, laying of wreaths on the tomb by family members and invited dignitaries.

During t the prayers,the main celebrant Reverend Mathero Msatithe of Phalombe CCAP congregation said late Lacton Mulli left a good legacy after serving God on Earth hence celebrating his life.

“We have gathered here celebrating the good life and good work of late Lacton Mulli he demonstrate. He sent his children to school and established a business we see it now running perfectly and has grown up to an extent of having branches in other countries and has employed alot y Malawians”Reverend explained.

Meanwhile Reverend Mathero has announced that on 25 and 26thDecember 2020, he will lead to a parade of a big walk from Phalombe to Blantyre expressing my dismay against bad behavior of defiling and rape cases among young girls and women by ill minded people in the country and has pleaded the general public and well wishers to assist materially and financially to the realization of the motive and aid realized will be distributed to the victims.

In his remarks, Mulli group of companies managing director Leston Mulli lauded people who attended the event saying the Mulli family is honored and this signifies good relationship prevailing between the family and other family members”. Manager Leston Mulli adds.

On business part, the managing director pinpointed that the business environment encountered with bad weather due to deadly pandemic of covid 19 as it affected negatively the execution of different businesses not only within the country but also outside like the closure of boarders hindered importing and exporting of goods.

However, Mulli was quick to advise those who would want to venture into business and those who are running different businesses not to back track whenever they confront stumbling blocks, saying as time passes the business open opportunities and embark on producing good yields.

During the prayers the gospel was read from Hebrews 11 verse 4 .
