LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-President Lazarus Chakwera and the First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera are today, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Bingu National Stadium to officially launch the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) manifesto and campaign.
Upon arrival, Chakwera was welcomed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Colleen Zamba, Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara, Cabinet Ministers, and other senior government officials.
The official launch of the manifesto and campaign by President signifies a board move in Malawi’s political landscape ahead of the September 16, 2025.
Chakwera has collected his presidential nomination papers seeking second officer bid for September 16 polls.
