BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost )-Civil Service United has secured a spot in the semifinals of the 2025 Airtel Top 8 after a convincing 4-0 victory over Mzuzu City Hammers at Civo Stadium on Saturday.
The Capital City side dominated the match, with Dastin Banda, Muhammad Biason, Blessings Malinda, and Damiano Kunje scoring the goals.
Malinda’s impressive performance earned him the player-of-the-match award.
Civil Service United will face either Silver Strikers or Moyale Barracks in the semifinals next month.
The two teams will clash at Rumphi Stadium today to determine the opponent for Civil.
In another semifinal, defending champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will take on Karonga United.
Bullets edged out Creck Sporting Club 1-0 on aggregate, while Karonga United overcame Mighty Wanderers 2-1 on aggregate.
The final match is scheduled for July 12, 2025, with the winner set to pocket K35 million.
