Five months of conflict in Sudan inflict heavy toll on children in camps

Over 1,200 children have died in Sudan refugee camps since May, while thousands of newborns are likely to die across the war-torn country by year-end, the UN alerted Tuesday (Sep. 18). Most deaths could have been prevented as they were linked to suspected measles and underlying malnutrition.Source: Africanews
